We are super excited to be hosting our annual Burning of the Canes again this year!

This ritual celebrates the end of the grape harvest and the start of the new season’s budburst, with grapevine cuttings burnt to symbolize rebirth.

Enjoy good company, live music, buffet dinner paired with some of our wines – all around a large bonfire.

This is an outdoors event, so please dress warm.

WHEN: Saturday, 26th July 2025

TIME: 5.30pm – 10pm • 5.30pm: Arrival to enjoy the sunset, with welcome bubbles & canapes • 6.15pm: We will be setting the canes / bonfire alight • 7.00pm: Dinner served

WHERE: Hanging Tree Wines (294 O’Connors road, Pokolbin NSW 2320).
